Located on a unique estate, near Bordeaux, overlooking the city and its Garonne, Château Gassies is the ideal place to stay for a few days while exploring the Bordeaux region and its vineyards. With its two heated swimming pools, its wellness area (with hammam and sauna), its multi-sports ground, Château Gassies offers you the ideal setting for a pleasant stay. You can reserve one of our 5 large air-conditioned Suites, furnished with magnificent antiques found for one night or more. Breakfast is included when you book a suite. We also have a 56-space car park at the entrance to the estate.

After four years of complete and careful renovation, Château Gassies opened its doors in April 2019. Located 10 minutes from Saint-Jean train station, Château Gassies, dating from 1775, is a unique 14-hectare estate overlooking the city of Bordeaux and its Garonne from the hill of Latresne.

All our rooms are equipped with air conditioning reversible heating, automated skylights. All decorated with antiques purchased at auction, they guarantee comfort during your stay. Enjoy an office space, a TV, a large wardrobe, wifi access, welcome coffee and tea as well as a safe for your personal belongings.

All our bathrooms are equipped with showers and/or bathtubs, towel dryers, hair dryers, toiletries and towels.

Health and Safety

Château Gassies welcomes you in front of a large gate secured by codes. All our suites and Gîtes have their own access keys. Our swimming pools, with their opening hours, are open to all, children must be supervised while swimming. During your stay, take advantage of private parking with 56 spaces.

We have implemented a very strict and precise protocol in order to guarantee impeccable hygiene. After the departure of our guests, the guest rooms and the gîte are ventilated, cleaned and disinfected. The cleaning is carried out with wearing of mask and gloves: cleaning, rinsing, drying and disinfection (handles, switches, toilets, floors are disinfected). Liquid soap is provided in each bathroom. Soap dispensers are disinfected.
