Guesthouse Mont-Ventoux

la Perroya

From 105 € / per night
La Perroya offers 4 spacious guest rooms, distributed between the first and second floors of the house: some overlook the church square, others the inner courtyard. The suite and the 3 double bedrooms each have their own decorative theme and are furnished with the attention to detail that characterizes your host, Agathe. During your stay, you will have access to the shaded courtyard and its saltwater pool, ideal for cooling off. On the ground floor of the house, you can enjoy the living room, its library and its fireplace during the long winter evenings. From the 1st floor, a walkway provides access to the large panoramic terrace, ideal for a refreshment at the end of the day and to enjoy a long sunset over the Rhone Valley, comfortably installed in a deck chair. Breakfasts are generally served in the courtyard in the summer, sheltered by the mulberry tree and in cooler weather, on the large table in the living room. It is possible to welcome you upon your arrival with a dinner aperitif and/or a table d'hôtes (only on request).

Originally from the Lyon region and interior designer, Agathe plans to find her “project” house in 2019. It is this house that will tick all the criteria: an old house, in the heart of an old village, requiring significant rehabilitation works. It is also an opportunity for Agathe to get closer to her family, attached to Provence for more than 30 years and finally to be able to welcome you.

Around la Perroya

Visan is a village in full development and a lot of events are organized there throughout the year. From La Perroya, in the historic heart of the village, many walks offer superb views of the vineyards, the plain and Mont Ventoux. Many historic sites are also nearby, the archaeological sites of Orange and old Vaison-la-Romaine, but also the historic center of Avignon, the castles of Grignan and Suze-la-Rousse, the magnificent site of the laces of Montmirail and Mont-Ventoux of course. You can also visit the many local markets and especially the truffle market of Richerenches, world famous from December to mid-March.

Each bedroom has 160cm beds, one has two 90cm beds. All have a "theme" and a studied charm, antique objects, dog-eared books, a little writing corner... Each has its own bathroom and the Suite also has a free-standing bathtub. Wi-Fi available.
Each bathroom is private and adjacent to the bedroom. Each has a large shower and closed toilets. the 40m2 Suite also has a free-standing bathtub with a view of the Rhone Valley. Towels, local soap, hair dryer available.
Health and Safety
The objects chosen, the salt water basin, the stairs and the small quiet inner courtyard mean that the house is not suitable for young children. It is a place of tranquility, punctuated by the church bells. La Perroya recalls the lack of supervision of the swimming pool. The house has a garage on the courtyard side where it is possible to park. However, for everyone's comfort, we prefer parking in the car park. Many are nearby in the village.
We have implemented a very strict and precise protocol in order to guarantee impeccable hygiene. After the departure of our guests, the guest rooms and the gîte are ventilated, cleaned and disinfected. The cleaning is carried out with wearing of mask and gloves: cleaning, rinsing, drying and disinfection (handles, switches, toilets, floors are disinfected). Liquid soap is provided in each bathroom. Soap dispensers are disinfected.
